The Salesiana community “daughter of Maria Auxiliadora” for 50 years had
been developing a work of service and total disposition for the community of
Pamplona. After they started the work had been developed looking for the
benefice of families as a central part of the society.
Pamplona women studied thought workshops such as: hand-crafting and cook
because this could increase the opportunities of a better nutrition and also
receive and extra money to supply other necessities; all those things inspired
by Mother Margarita in the Don Bosco chapel, priest funder of the community.
Later on, the work was focused on under-resourced girls and boys,
looking for governments’ alliances, putting together the Institute of the
sisters with the school Agueda, creating a new one, called Integrated School.
After come years, it became Education Institution Agueda Gallardo of
Villamizar in honor to the powerful heroin who gave the shout of independence
in our city. Today, in the school the service is offer from preschooler to
eleven grades.
Now a days, the principal office of the institution is located in
Pamplona city, North of Santander in the Salesiano neighborhood, precisely in
the street 9 N° 9-103, on the other hand, EL Escorial 11
8c-55 Afanador neighborhood, where we can find preschooler and primary.
